The Society for the History of Technology will conclude its year-long fiftieth anniversary celebrations at next year’s annual meeting, in Lisbon, the westernmost city in mainland Europe, 10–14 October. All sessions and meetings will take place in the VIP Executive Arts Hotel, located in Parque das Nações.

Note that hotel reservations must be made by 30 April 2008 to take advantage of the conference rate.
